week 37

Hey friends,

sorry for not blogging so long...figured got nothing interesting to talk about which is why I didn't blog... just came back from the saturday market where I bought fresh fruits with Inga. Spent some time at my old house and even met my old stinky - and now also alcoholic - roommate Anir ;) I think he was even a little bit happy to see me although we used to fight a lot in the past because of his untidyness...

I am wondering if I should try out a fruit diet *wink*

In the last week I never had to make dinner for myself as I was always invited or at a party so tonight will be my first time this week to cook dinner :P

On Monday the whole family drove to Amsterdam, had yam cha with some relatives and in the evening there was a wedding party @ the boat...on Tuesday I took my bike, my huge and very heavy bag back to Breda (by train...) now I am cycling again... :D
In the evening I met up with Hoi Sum and we had 米粉 with vegetables for dinner. For dessert we had delicious Slagroomsoesjes with chocolate sauce and vanilla ice cream topped with a piece of daim cake :D :D very yummy, yummy!!!

On Wednesday I spent almost the whole day at school having meetings with the project group and stuff and afterwards my sister called me telling that she and my parents were visiting my grandma and my uncle in Maastricht. That is when I spontaneously decided to go there as well. Even though it was already 5pm and the train ride would last 1.5 hrs it was still worth it when seeing the surprised looks on my family's faces. I ended up staying at my grandma's for the night and only slept for 3-4 hours due to my grandma's snoring (^^) and because we had to wake up at 5am to take my uncle to the airport. Coincidentally a big group of elderly German women were having their lunch at my aunt's restaurant that day which is why I was 'allowed' to help out... After the group left I took the train back to Breda where I had dinner with Hoi-Sum and Hung Shui in the evening (Spaghetti Bolognese) and afterwards we went to the city centre but sadly didn't succeed in buying any nice things...but we did have some delicious ice cream from Australian.

Yesterday I did some study stuff and in the evening I met up with Inga, Constanze and Marije for dinner, again. We had potatoes with schnitzel and vegetables and as dessert: soesjes. Was nice to meet with the girls again especially as I haven't seen Constanze back for one year.

For today I only planned to do some tasks for my studies and then I really have to start writing more applications...

Anyways...going back to reading and stuff :)
